Topsoil
Blended topsoil for beds, borders and planters
Screened topsoil blended with extra organic matter, for the areas that are going to be planted. Use it where plants will root, and screened topsoil for the bulk fill underneath.

Where it earns its keep
Planting areas need a deeper, richer soil than lawns. Blended topsoil gives shrubs, perennials and hedging a good start, and it’s a sensible choice for filling large raised beds and planters on commercial and community schemes.
- New borders and shrub beds
- Large raised beds and planters
- Hedge and tree planting lines
- Community growing spaces and allotment beds

Filling deep beds without overspending
For very deep raised beds, many landscapers fill the bottom with screened topsoil and finish the top 300mm or so with blended soil. Add both to one request and we’ll price them together.

Questions
What’s in the blend?
Screened topsoil with added organic matter. The exact mix can change with what’s available, so mention it on your quote request and we’ll describe the current blend.
Can I use it for a lawn?
You can, but it’s usually more than a lawn needs. Screened topsoil or turf underlay is the usual choice under grass.
