Delivery

Tipped loose or in bulk bags

Pick whatever suits the site. Not sure? Say so on the form, describe the access and we’ll advise.

Open sites and plots

Tipped loose

The tipper drops the whole load in one heap where it can safely reach. It suits plots, open ground and wide drives with room to work from the pile.

Delivery and access
Three bulk bags of topsoil standing on a gravel drive outside a stone farmhouse

Tighter or tidier sites

Bulk bags

The soil comes in bags lifted off by the lorry’s crane, so it stays contained and can go over a low wall or kerb where the lorry has room to stand.

Questions

Questions

Ask for a quote

What’s the smallest load you deliver?

Five tonnes. If you’d like two grades on the same delivery, each grade starts at five tonnes.

How far does a tonne of topsoil go?

For screened topsoil, roughly 7m² at 100mm deep or about 5m² at 150mm. Our topsoil calculator does the sums for your own area and depth.

Can the lorry tip on my drive?

Often, if a tipper can get in and the surface can carry a loaded lorry. Choose “not sure” on the form, describe the access and we’ll advise.

Why aren’t prices on the website?

Much of the cost of a bulk load depends on where it’s going and how the lorry reaches it, so every request is quoted for its own site.

Got a tonnage? Let’s price it.

The grade, the tonnes and the postcode are enough for us to start on your quote.
