Loose, tipped
The lorry tips the load in one heap where it can safely reach. It’s the usual choice for open sites, plots and drives with good access and space to work from the pile.
Delivery and access
Every load is quoted for its postcode and access. A few details about the site help us send the right lorry and price it properly.
Two ways to receive it

The lorry tips the load in one heap where it can safely reach. It’s the usual choice for open sites, plots and drives with good access and space to work from the pile.

The soil arrives in bags lifted off by the lorry’s crane, which keeps it contained and lets it be set down over a low wall or kerb when the lorry has room to stand. Ask for bags and we’ll include them in your quote.
We deliver to your site or the closest suitable point the lorry can safely reach, and the driver leaves the load in the most convenient place they reasonably can where it’s possible and safe. Loads aren’t barrowed or carried onto a site by hand.
Tight access may mean a smaller lorry or a grab lorry. Choose the access option that fits best on the form and add notes, and we’ll quote for the right vehicle. A load on a road or pavement needs council permission first, so please check this before booking.
The minimum is five tonnes. You can put two or more grades on one request, with five tonnes or more of each. On longer projects we can quote for phased deliveries so the soil arrives as each stage is ready.
Add the access notes to your request and we’ll quote the delivery to suit.
